The Australian Chinese Individual Support Association (ACISA) was established in 2019 to provide support for elderly people with Chinese cultural backgrounds, people with disabilities, their primary caregivers. We also provide support for Australian Chinese registered nurses/enrolled nurse and personal care assistants (PCA). This is a Non-profit community organization founded by Chinese nurses and PCAs.
ACISA aims to promote volunteer programs that benefit elderly and disabled Chinese who face various barriers.
ACISA helps Chinese elders connect with people in the community and select PCAs who are like-minded and best suited to the people in needs.
ACISA aims to support maximum independence for Chinese elders/ people with disabilities . Our services cover range of suburbs in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
Our objectives and vision:
Provide continuous employment guidance, consultation and working platform for registered nurses/enrolled nurse and personal care assistants (PCA) with Chinese cultural background;
To assist the elderly/disabled Chinese to maximize their self-care, independence and quality of life;
Promote the physical, psychological and spiritual wellbeing of the primary caregivers
Provide volunteer services for Chinese senior and disability community,
Set up a platform for individuals or institutions interested in investing in aged care and establish a potential platform for cooperation and communication.
